TED X MAPUTO WOMEN
The TEDxMaputo organization held its first edition of TEDxMaputoWomen 2018, a conference where diverse experiences were embraced through the sharing of innovative ideas, provoking an open and constructive dialogue around the ambition of the women and girls of Mozambique in 2018.
Under the theme of the TEDWomen 2018 international conference: Showing Up, TEDxWomen events around the world will focus on the journey of women who affirm their presence through a wide variety of initiatives, projects, and lifestyles, in its generation and in the generations to come
SUCESS STORIES
During the 7th Edition of the Mozambican Gas Summit, we had a chance to contemplate the Sucess story of Madalena Jemusse.
Madalena is a living and breathing example of the success of our local content strategy in Mozambique. She was a stand-out student at Eduardo Mondlane University and has transformed that early promise into a role as a Process Engineer on the Coral South FLNG Development Project. Madalena was recognized as the best student on her Chemical Engineering course at her graduation Ceremony in 2017. She was later selected to be part of the first group of students recruited to undergo an Out-Country training program for the TJS Consortium at TechnipFMC in Paris. She was then contracted in the first-ever oil and gas engineering company in Mozambique, ENHL-TechnipFMC JV, as a Project Engineer.
